Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto announced today the convictions of three defendants accused of stealing more than $50,000 from the Victims of Crime Program.
Nothing is more central to our system of government than maintaining the public's trust and confidence in our elected leaders. To that end, Catherine Cortez Masto and her office's Public Integrity Unit have been actively investigating and prosecuting cases of public misconduct. Cases investigated and prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office include charges of theft, receiving bribes, Medicaid fraud, embezzlement and misconduct by a public officer.
